Meet Sharleen Korte

I grew up in an entrepreneurial world and started in administrative services at 14 years old in my dad’s chartered accountancy office primarily typing up and collating financial statements.  Since then I’ve worked at a government office, a Department of National Defence Headquarters office, a large corporate construction firm, and a few smaller offices. My expertise lies within the financial services sector, having worked as an assistant, executive assistant, and compliance branch manager over the years.

Professional Highlights

 

    • Founding partner of an independent financial services firm opened in 2007
    • Successfully managed the above firm for its first five years (through the financial crisis of 2008), earning a Best Practices designation and the “New Small Business, Product or Work System” award by the Sherwood Park Chamber of Commerce in 2011 for customer service
    • Subsequent firm awarded second top wealth-building practice in the company for 2015 (over 900 advisors nation-wide)
    • Employer’s book of business grew by 50% in the five years I assisted him
    • Co-chaired an annual conference that saw over 9000 delegates choosing between 60 sessions spread out across 9 venues over 3 days in January 2005
